drop or not
Did not score well in neet 2021!😔😔 should take a drop?
If you did not score well in your neet exam, it's okay as the Medical entrance exams are possibly one of the toughest exams of all the competitive exams.
Also, competitive medical entrance tests are extremely challenging to crack given their competitiveness and vast syllabus. physics and chemistry can get really tough.
The feeling of “I want to be a doctor” is generally very strong in many individuals, leading to the conclusion of dropping a year for preparation.
there are two situations for a drop
- Firstly you were in 12th and you gave the neet with your 12th preparation that means it was your 1st attempt.
- Secondly, you were a repeater already, and still, you did not score well. in this case, you can go for a drop if you scored a little well in your previous attempt.
At last, it always matters at last do you really want to become a doctor
Benefits
- The biggest advantage is one complete year can be fully devoted for NEET preparation, hence time to cover the vast Neet syllabus.
- The possibility of cracking NEET is higher if one decides earlier, thus having a better mind frame to prepare for board exams as well.
- Many reattempt NEET as now, there is no limit on the number of attempts.
- One can only build upon concepts, solidifying and concreting them with surplus time.
- Last and most important, the goal of becoming successful medical professionals will be met.
Disadvantages
- Missing out one year and not staying in sync with their peers is the prime fear of students who decide to drop a year
- One year of self-studies is not easy as it requires complete dedication and focuses
- Pressure to succeed the next year is greater than one year is dropped.
